In bread manufacturing, the salt decreases the rate of fermentation by stabilizing the wheat gluten. It helps modify enzyme activity in cheese production by playing the role of the starter in the culture of micro-organisms. Salt also provides suitable conditions for fermentation in pickles by helping control microbiological and pyrogenic growth.
Hub-Salt also produces a very high quality of Fleur De Sel. Fleur De Sel is a unique and rare type of salt produced in different coastal areas of the world.
